It's finally happened

There's been a major change in the way I'm making
these comics, and it's not very efficient. I'm
actually building sets for the next part of this
story arc. Pieces will be drawn, then cut out and
placed into the set and then photographed. Other
parts will be created digitally and placed into the
picture. This is obviously very time-consuming, but I
feel that the end result will be pretty cool, with
depth of field and possibly some 3D effects down the
road. (I'll get you some glasses.)
Why the heck would I do this? Because I'm an idiot, most likely.... or I've finally lost my fragile grip on reality. But it's something I've thought about for a long time, and in the past three months several people have brought this up in conversation, so I'm taking that as a sign.
I can't say what this will do the regularity of the comic (HA haha ha, ow my side....), but I'm going to start writing some mini-comics so that I can try and keep a weekly schedule going. Idealy, I'd like to make two comics a week, but I think we both know that's not going to happen unless I suddenly hit the Powerball or something. (Dear God, how's it going? Say....)
In the meantime, here's a little photo of some of the work I'm doing. Wish me luck! (I'm going to need it....)
