I’m sorry, I’ve been so busy lately that the comics have fell WAAAAAY behind. There’s just not enough time in the day lately.

It’s actually kind of nice to have this much graphic design work on the side, but it’s really cutting into the time that I should be spending entertaining you. We never talk anymore.

Anyway, there should be another comic this week yet. Fingers crossed.

So, I’ve been out for a while, I’ll tell you more about it later. Just wanted to let you know that new comics are coming soon. Here’s a sample of the work I’ve been doing.

There's been a major change in the way I'm making these comics, and it's not very efficient. I'm actually building sets for the next part of this story arc. Pieces will be drawn, then cut out and placed into the set and then photographed. Other parts will be created digitally and placed into the picture. This is obviously very time-consuming, but I feel that the end result will be pretty cool, with depth of field and possibly some 3D effects down the road. (I'll get you some glasses.)

Why the heck would I do this? Because I'm an idiot, most likely.... or I've finally lost my fragile grip on reality. But it's something I've thought about for a long time, and in the past three months several people have brought this up in conversation, so I'm taking that as a sign.

I can't say what this will do the regularity of the comic (HA haha ha, ow my side....), but I'm going to start writing some mini-comics so that I can try and keep a weekly schedule going. Idealy, I'd like to make two comics a week, but I think we both know that's not going to happen unless I suddenly hit the Powerball or something. (Dear God, how's it going? Say....)

In the meantime, here's a little photo of some of the work I'm doing. Wish me luck! (I'm going to need it....)

So, I’ve been sick for several days, and have yet to finish the comic. So, I grabbed the stuffed animals my sister made me last year and made a quick topical comic on the bigger events of the week. Namely, the Macintosh’s 25th anniversary on saturday.

I assume that’s the big news of the week.... Right? Nothing else is happening?

Anyway. The comic will be back next week, hopefully early since I’m 1/3 of the way done now.
